How do I order a printed product?

You can use our simple, four-step process:
1. Products and pricing: Select the product you want, along with the product options in the “Instant Pricing” tool. Then click on the “Order Now” button. Before you can continue, we’ll prompt you to log in. If you don’t have a GTI SmART Print Account, you’ll need to register at this point.
2. Billing and shipping: Enter your billing information, enter your shipping information, select your shipping method, and review your order summary to make sure all the information is correct. You’ll need to provide us with the appropriate payment information and ensure us that you’ve read over our terms and conditions. Then hit “Confirm Order.”
3. Upload your file: Upload your artwork files and any other files we’ll need for your order. Once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved, we’ll begin the print process.
4. Job approval: Once your files are uploaded, you need to attach and approve files for each print job. To get started, click on “My Orders” at the top of any page on our Web site, and find the order you want. Then just follow the instructions that guide you through the process of attaching and approving files.

Do I need to log in to my account when I place an order?

Yes. Before you can proceed with an order, we’ll prompt you to log in. If you have purchased from GTI SmART Print before, you can enter your e-mail address and password. If you’re not yet a GTI SmART Print customer, we’ll prompt you to register after you click on the “Order Now” button. Just follow the simple directions to register your account!

Can I upload my files before I order?

You can upload your files any time, even before ordering. To upload your artwork or mail list files for future orders, click “My Files” at the top of any page of the site. Can I request a faster turnaround time after placing an order?

We’ll try to accommodate you, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll receive a faster turnaround time for your job. There are many factors involved, including status of your artwork, production schedule, day of the week, product selected, and more. You will likely be charged a fee to upgrade your print job to a faster turnaround time. Please note that we can’t change the turnaround of your job after the prepress or production department receives it.
To give you the fastest turnaround possible, we ask you to log in to your account by clicking “My Orders.” Log in, and post a note to the specific order you want to change. You can also submit your request through Customer Service.

How do I cancel an order?

Once you click “Confirm Order” and submit your order, your credit card will be charged for the total amount shown, including shipping and handling fees when applicable. No refunds can be given for orders that have gone to our prepress department.

Can I change my artwork files?

You can change your files anytime before you approve your print job. Once you approve your print job online, including artwork files, GTI SmART Print can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to update your artwork files unless you have requested a proof.
If you have requested a proof, you can change your artwork files before approving it. Once it’s approved, we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to update your artwork files, since the job will already be sent to production to be printed.

What if there’s a product pricing or option error?

GTI SmART Print tries very hard to provide accurate product and pricing information, but mistakes do happen. We can’t confirm a price on a product until after you order. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, GTI SmART Print can refuse or cancel orders placed for that item. If it is mispriced, GTI SmART Print may either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and let you know. Prices are subject to change without notice. But know that we will always try to make things right for our customers.

What is GTI SmART Print’s standard turnaround time?

Your turnaround time varies by product, ranging from one to 10 business days. To narrow it down for a specific product, please look at the product that interests you. Also, check to make sure your turnaround time won’t be affected by an upcoming holiday.
Your turnaround time begins once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, turnaround begins when we receive approval for that proof.
If your job or proof is approved by 5:00 p.m. CST, turnaround time begins that business day. So if you approve a job by 2:00 p.m. CST for a three-day turnaround, it will be shipped out to you by the end of business Friday.
GTI SmART Print offices are closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. These days aren’t considered when calculating turnaround time. Turnaround time doesn’t include shipping time, and you should allow additional business days for delivery, based on the shipping method you select.

Does GTI SmART Print guarantee my turnaround time?

Yes. GTI SmART Print guarantees production turnaround time when you have met all requirements to begin the turnaround time period. While GTI SmART Print strives to meet turnaround commitments for every job, please know that production delays may occur. In the rare event that GTI SmART Print misses a turnaround commitment, we will make it right by providing a refund for rush charges or a courtesy rush on your next job. Cancellation of a job or entire order based on turnaround time is permitted only if the original order clearly states that the job is time sensitive and that if it cannot be shipped by the contracted date, the client does not want us to process the order.
Please note that GTI SmART Print assumes no responsibility for shipping delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is an estimate only. GTI SmART Print cannot be held responsible for delivery delays once your job leaves our facility.

What information is needed for payment?

During the "Billing & Shipping" step, we’ll ask you to choose a payment method. If you pay with a credit card, you’ll enter your credit card type, cardholder name, credit card number, expiration date, and security code, along with your name, address and phone number as they appear on your credit card statements.
For check or money order payments, select "Purchase Order" as your payment option on the order form and indicate in the "Comments" section that you will send us a check for order payment. Please note that your order will remain on hold need payment until we receive the check with the correct order total, including tax and shipping fees.
For purchase order payments, please enter your Purchase Order number. Note that purchase orders are for government organizations and educational institutions only, pending credit verification.

Yes. We’ll send you an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours of placing an order. If you paid by credit card, and your credit card was approved, this e-mail will confirm your order. Otherwise, it will notify you that the credit card failed and will give you instructions on how to resubmit your payment.
We’ll also keep you informed about what’s happening with your order with update e-mails. For example, we’ll let you know when your order ships, so you know when to start watching for it!
